Peri peri prawns recipe
Crispy, spicy prawns. Beautiful. Simply serve them on a bed of savoury rice.
Ingredients
- 2 kg tiger prawns
- 200 ml peri peri sauce
- 50 ml olive oil
- 4.4 lbs tiger prawns
- 7 fl oz peri peri sauce
- 1.8 fl oz olive oil

- 0.2 cup olive oil
- 6 fresh lemon wedges

Step-by-step
- Marinate the whole prawns in peri peri sauce for 12 hours.
- Add salt and pepper to taste. Heat oil in frying pan.
- Drain the prawns, reserving the peri peri sauce, and cook in the pan until crispy and pink/red.
- Once they're fairly crispy, pour peri peri sauce over them, to taste. Gently simmer until thoroughly cooked.
- Garnish with fresh lemon, serve with savoury rice.
