The UK's top foodie pubs have been named.

The best gastropubs in the nation have been announced, so if you’re looking to treat yourself to an exceptional meal out, these could be right up your street.

Tom Kerridge presented the awards, having topped the chart three years running with his own Hand & Flowers in Marlow. This pub has now been moved into the Top 50 Hall of Fame.

Organised by trade magazine Publican's Morning Advertiser, pubs are voted for by pub owners, chefs, pub guide editors and food companies, among others.

With Tom’s pub now out of the running because of its champion status, The Sportsman, based in Seasalter, Kent, has moved up from second place to first for 2015. Steve and Phil Harris are the licensees of The Sportsman, and Steve is also the head chef. They have held a Michelin Star for eight years.
