The brand, founded by YouTube stars Logan Paul and KSI (pictured), has defended Prime Energy, stating it's clearly labelled as 'not recommended for children under 18'. However, US Democratic Senator Chuck Schumer has recently argued that the marketing for both drinks is too similar, potentially misleading parents about the product and making the energy drink appealing to younger people. He has urged the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to investigate Prime's controversial energy drink's advertising, ingredients and caffeine content.
