The world's third largest burger chain, trumped only by McDonald's and Burger King, Wendy's has been doling out delicious square hamburgers since 1969. But the journey hasn't been as simple as the food. With an on-and-off presence in the UK, the chain has recently announced plans for the first drive-thru to open in England, in 2023. At the same time, changes at the top, suggestions of a brand revamp and rumours of potential restaurant closures suggest there's major change coming for the fast food behemoth.
