From pizza to pecan pie, here's a taste of just some of the incredible Pringles flavours that have been released around the globe.

Fans of global fast food chain Wendy’s iconic Spicy Chicken Sandwich could get their fix in crisp form with the US release of this limited-edition flavour in 2021. Though the reviews were mixed, some praised it for carrying the perfect amount of heat. It’s not the only time the brand has taken inspiration from Wendy’s: Pringles' Baconator crisps, inspired by the Wendy's burger of the same name, are an old favourite.

If you fancied a dill pickle hit to accompany your Spicy Chicken Pringles, the answer to your fast food dreams could also be found in the snacks aisle. In April 2021, Pringles US launched this limited-edition Wavy Deep Fried Pickle, sold only in Dollar General stores. They were even crinkle-cut in further homage to the shape of dill pickles.

As soon as the first golden leaves fall to the ground, people go crazy about the imminent approach of Thanksgiving and Christmas. Perhaps because they’ll soon get to eat plates and plates of roasted turkey. For anyone craving the taste of turkey in easy to grab snack form, Pringles US offered Roasted Turkey Pringles in 2019. The release followed the popular Friendsgiving Feast Turducken Kit, with stackable Turkey, Duck and Chicken crisps alongside Cranberry Sauce, Stuffing and Pumpkin Pie flavours.

The crisp flavour you didn’t know you craved, Hot Diggity Dog was a Walgreens exclusive flavour in the US in 2016. Said to taste like a medley of smoke, mustard and spices, it was the next best thing to actually grilling up a dog on the barbecue or grabbing one from a street cart.

Arguably one of the most delicious crisp flavours to have existed, Ketchup Pringles are coated in a punchy seasoning that perfectly replicates the sweet and tangy flavour of tomato ketchup. It's not as odd as it might sound – if you like prawn cocktail or Worcestershire sauce crisps, you’ll love these. They’re currently on sale in the US.

Another seasonal favourite, this time from the UK, Pigs In Blankets Pringles took inspiration from the festive side dish of bacon-wrapped chipolata sausages – considered a must on many Christmas dinner plates in the UK. A fancy crisp flavour from Pringles Korea, Consommé packed the hearty flavour of a rich broth into a tube. The limited-edition treat, sold in 2016, received a positive response from customers desperate to get their hands on the warming veggie stew flavour.

Sweet and salty is a tried and tested combination, proven time and time again to be a hit with snackers. So when Pringles Korea launched Butter Caramel in 2016, it was a no brainer. Many of us go crazy for thick, creamy mayonnaise. It has an uncanny ability to perk up even the dullest sandwiches, burgers and salads – and, it turns out, it makes a great Pringles flavour too. Sweet Mayo Cheese was a success when it was launched by Pringles Korea in 2015.

Who doesn’t love juicy, buttery garlic shrimp? The essence of its timeless taste was perfectly captured in Japan’s Garlic Shrimp Pringles, which were sold in 2019. Though (obviously) a little dryer than the actual dish, they packed in seafood aromas and the taste of roasted garlic. And, just like the moreish meal, it was impossible to stop at one.

When you’re craving fast food but don’t have time to pick up a cheeseburger, Pringles has the perfect solution. Its Grilled Cheeseburger crisps were laden with a rich cheese flavouring and a piquant pickle accent. The fast food-inspired snack was on shelves in Japan in 2018, and other countries have offered similar varieties over the years.

You’ve seen shrimp-flavoured crisps and soup-flavoured crisps, but salad-flavoured crisps? It certainly seemed like a new idea when it was debuted by Pringles Japan in 2016. Described by the brand as having “the refreshing sassiness of French dressing”, the tangy vinegar-based flavouring made them reminiscent of salt and vinegar crisps.

These crisps were inspired by the Japanese dish Gyūdon or beef bowl, where beef slices and onions are simmered in a sweet and savoury sauce and served over rice with toppings such as a poached egg and pickles. Pringles turned the comfort food into a portable snack in 2018 by coating its classic crisp in a rich beef and tangy red ginger seasoning.

With its hot, horseradish-style intensity, classic sushi accompaniment wasabi certainly packs a punch. It’s no wonder Pringles turned it into an idea for a new crisp in Japan in 2015. To balance the spiciness, the crisps incorporated the creamy and sour taste of mayonnaise.

This unique chip flavour was launched by Pringles Ukraine in February 2022. The Spanish-inspired taste combined the nuttiness of almonds with the smokiness of paprika, making them reminiscent of bar snacks best nibbled with a glass of Cava. It was met with a positive reception from fans, who said they’d be running to the shop to buy it.

This pastel-pink tube of Crab Pringles launched by Pringles Ukraine looked too good to miss when it went on shelves in 2020. Dressed in a fishy seasoning, the flavour nevertheless divided buyers with its strong, oceanic aromas. They were also sold in Russia and made an appearance in some UK stores too.

Thai food lovers will be able to get on board with this flavour of crisp offered by Pringles Malaysia in 2019. Tom yum is a spicy, sour soup, native to Thailand, often made with chicken or prawns plus super-sour tamarind, hot chillies, aromatic kaffir lime leaves and lemongrass. Song kreung refers to the fact it has been 'spruced up', though it's hard to imagine such complex flavours could be completely encapsulated in crisp form – let alone improved upon.

Those who enjoy the intense, spicy flavours of cuisine from the Sichuan province of China will be familiar with the mouth-numbing properties of Sichuan peppers. They’ll also appreciate how well the flavours would lend themselves to crisps, like this fabulously fun Pringles variety. Inspired by the chicken dish from the region, Pringles Australia released Sichuan Style Spicy Chicken in 2021.

Going big on its international flavours, Pringles Australia launched Chicken Souvlaki crisps in 2020, inspired by the Greek street food of chicken grilled on skewers then served in pitta with tzatziki and salad. If they tasted anything like a combination of Chicken Pringles and Sour Cream Pringles, they must have been very moreish indeed.

Moreish buttered popcorn is a classic cinema snack – but what do you do when you can’t decide between popcorn and crisps? For a short time, the dilemma was solved by these ingenious Butter Popcorn Pringles. Launched in Australia in 2018, the flavour was said to perfectly encapsulate the slightly artificial butter taste and aroma we’ve come to fondly associate with a night at the movies.

Mild, buttery and full of holes, Emmental is a classic – and the perfect choice to elevate these particular cheese-flavoured crisps. Why opt for generic cheese puffs when you can feast on Emmental Pringles? Sold in Germany in 2018, the sophisticated flavour was a hit – and the brand suggested pairing it with grapes in the style of a cheese board.

Another fancy flavour, this time from Pringles Brazil. Parmesan & Olive Oil Pringles came in a sophisticated olive-green tube, which featured the romantic image of an olive grove. But did they live up to the marketing? Some customers believed the dominant flavour was rosemary, so it really depended on individual tastes.

At the same time as Parmesan & Olive Oil, Pringles Brazil launched Presunto Tip Serra, which roughly translates as ham. The tube depicted a rack of hams hanging to dry alongside a hooked-up Pringle. Both flavours ran for a number of years from 2014 and were clearly popular.

It's pretty safe to say that pizza is an international favourite, so it was an ingenious marketing strategy when Pringles Brazil launched Pizza crisps in 2014. Brazil wasn't the first country to come out with a pizza flavour, with the US and UK also releasing versions of the cheesy, tomato-rich crisps. Some described the taste as similar to ketchup.

The sweet and salty taste of roasted seaweed goes great with Pringles. Currently on sale in Taiwan, this irresistible snack comes in two editions: Spicy Seaweed and Roasted Seaweed. They're not the first of their kind; seaweed crisps have been popular in parts of Asia for years.

Another Japanese-inspired Pringle flavour on sale in Taiwan this year was Hokkaido Cheese Pot. It featured the classic Pringles potato chip coated in the addictive, mellow and fragrant aroma of a simmering cheese pot from Hokkaido, an island north of mainland Japan.
