In 2017 former LA Galaxy footballer David Beckham revealed he’s not too posh for McDonald’s, stopping off at a drive-thru in Chippenham near Bath, England, on his way to the Glastonbury music festival. The quick thinking server made sure he asked for a selfie with David before he drove off, captioning it "I am literally star struck! David Beckham on the drive-thru". Later on, he revealed the soccer star's order: a Big Mac meal as well as two cheeseburgers.

Reality TV mega star Kim Kardashian (pictured here with a McDonald's ice cream) is such a big fan of Maccy-D's they apparently sent her a Givenchy wallet filled with gift cards. And it's not just the desserts that Kimmie loves, declaring: “I always have to get an order of small fries. Then, I usually order chicken nuggets and dip them in honey.” However, if she opts for a cheeseburger and chicken nuggets she confesses to only eating half of each.

Britney Spears, despite her fortune, loves fast food and is frequently papped exiting McDonald’s. However, on her 2018 tour she was striving to be healthier,  sticking to “the small burgers” and “Happy Meals”.

Bad Liar pop singer, Selena Gomez is refreshingly honest about how frequently she feasts on McDonald’s. In a video she uploaded to Instagram in 2016, she’s filmed biting into a burger while declaring she also had one last week. What’s more, she knows her favourite order by its menu number. She gets the number 7 (a ranch BLT with chicken, grilled or crispy) with fries and a coke.

At the 2013 Oscars Jennifer Lawrence was battling some real-life hunger games on the red carpet. She was up for the Best Actress Award and had been too nervous to eat before. Spotting a McDonald’s across the road she sent an assistant over to order her a Happy Meal. The best part? She interrupted an interview with MTV’s Josh Horowitz to make sure they were bringing back fries and ketchup.

Tennessee born singer-songwriter Miley Cyrus used to be a McDonald’s mega-fan. She posted often about her love for the fast food on Twitter and has been snapped clutching a McDonald’s. Since 2014 however, Miley has been vegan. But that means she can still eat the apple pie, Vegetable Deluxe, hash browns and fries.

Self-declared fast food fan, Gigi Hadid’s motto is “eat clean to stay fit, eat a burger to stay sane” and doesn’t deny herself treats when she wants them. She spent Thanksgiving 2012 indulging on Cinnamon Melts from the much-loved fast food store.

Supermodel and Kardashian klan member Kendall Jenner is not one to diet. Kendall was filmed eating an Egg McMuffin during New York Fashion Week and has been known to put away a whole pizza before shows.

McDonald’s regular Katy Perry has been spotted at the drive-thru on a number of occasions, frequently after stage shows where she presumably worked up an appetite. She’s not afraid to wear her heart on her sleeve either, papped in a McDonald’s-inspired Moschino dress, complete with a McDonald’s-themed clutch bag, in 2014.

Supermodels Cara Delevingne and Jourdan Dunn shared an Instagram snap of themselves with takeaway McDonald’s bags before London Fashion Week in 2018. Cara Delevingne has also been spotted leaving the Golden Arches with celebrity friend Rita Ora.

Big Bang Theory actress Kaley Cuoco is partial to a McDonald’s fix from time to time. Prior to the Emmy Awards in 2014 she posted a snap of herself munching down a McDonald’s burger and fries. Before his One Direction days, Zayn Malik was a regular kid who took selfies with his McDonald’s takeaway bag and posted them on the internet. He’s not the only band mate to have an affinity for Maccy-D’s though. Harry Styles bought a McDonald’s breakfast, before proceeding to drop it, tweeting pictures of his "hash brown overboard" much to fans' amusement. A couple of years ago Niall Horan was heckled by a singing fan outside a drive-thru too, the Daily Mirror reported. 

Mark Zuckerberg and wife Priscilla Chan must really love McDonald’s because the billionaire couple were spotted stopping in for a meal during their honeymoon in Rome. With all that pasta and pizza available in the Eternal City, we’re confused to say the least.

Another celebrity who knows their McDonald’s order to a T, Paris Hilton was filmed ordering “a #1 combo with a Coca-Cola, a sundae with caramel, Chicken McNuggets and apple pie" on her drive home from a club. She also regularly tweets updates about her cravings.

American actress and model Zendaya is a big lover of McDonald’s McFlurries. In 2013, after appearing on Jimmy Kimmel Live! she tweeted the host complaining how her mum has to drive her to get her fix – as she wasn't able to herself. 

It’s not always the case that celebrities really endorse the brands they do paid commercials for. But Heidi Klum, who featured in a McDonald’s commercial in 2009, has posted about her genuine affection for the fast food joint on social media. Following the 2012 American Music Awards she shared a snap of herself downing a Big Mac. A couple of years later she posted a picture of herself on a plane about to tuck into another McDonald’s burger, with the caption "breakfast of champions".
