Win two tickets to The Whisky Exchange Whisky Show worth £200!

Updated on 01 October 2012 | 0 Comments

We've teamed up with The Whisky Exchange Whisky Show to offer one reader and their chosen guest tickets to the event on Sunday 7 October.

Perfect the art of whisky tasting, sample ‘dream drams’ – some of which are worth thousands of pounds a bottle - and learn about pairing whisky and food, before enjoying a delicious two course whisky inspired meal at the Show Brasserie.

The Whisky Show

Experience cutting-edge ideas in the art of matching whisky with quality foods - showcasing some of the UK’s most exclusive produce - in the Food & Whisky Pairing room created by renowned whisky and food writer Martine Nouet.

There will also be the opportunity to try ground-breaking cocktails created by Ryan Chetiyawardana (award winning bartender and creative director of Mr Lyan), or relax with a tailor made coffee produced by the expert baristas of Weanie Bean.

Last year’s sell-out event saw more than 1,000 guests attend over two days. As part of this year’s ‘Meet the Maker’ theme, visitors will also be able to enjoy informal Q&A sessions and mini masterclasses with the experts.

The prize

Two tickets (normally £99 each!) for The Whisky Exchange Whisky Show at Vinopolis, Central London, valid on Sunday 7 October (the tickets include admission, free tasting glass, two course lunch and free samples). Transport and accommodation is not included. Note: entrants must be over 18 years old.

UPDATE: We've also got a signed copy of Ian Buxton's 101 whisky's to drink before you die which we'll bring along to the show. Ian will be there too.

How to enter

Easy, just tell us in the comments who you’d bring with you and why. For example:

Dear lovefood and The Whisky Exchange Whisky Show, I’d bring ……… because ………

Most imaginative answer wins. The closing date is Wednesday 3rd October 2012.

Even if you are not a winner, tickets to the show are available from £99 at http://www.whisky-show.com/whisky-show-tickets/

Finally PLEASE check your contact details

We’ve had situations in the past where people have old or unused email addresses saved with lovefood. This means that though they’ve been picked as the winner of one of our competitions, we’ve had to give the prize to someone else as they've not got back to us. So please take a second to log in (you need to do this to enter the competition anyway), click My settings at the top, and check that My email address is the one you use regularly.
