Win a dozen bottles of New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc worth £120!

Updated on 26 July 2012 | 0 Comments

Thanks to our pals at New Zealand Lamb, we're giving away two six-bottle cases of Villa Maria Sauvignon Blanc, who are celebrating their 50th vintage this year.

About the wine

logoA crisp, dry white wine made from a blend of fruit grown in the Wairau and Awatere Valleys, it boasts aromas of gooseberries, lime, and passion fruit flowers. Villa Maria Sauvignon Blanc is the perfect tipple to enjoy with barbecued food, especially lamb and salmon. Read more about Villa Maria wine here.

You’ll find loads of lamb-inspired recipes to drink it with on the New Zealand Lamb website, including plenty from Kiwi chef Peter Gordon.

The prize

Only one winner will receive 12 bottles of Villa Maria Sauvignon Blanc wine. We’ll send the wine out to you.

How to enter

Simples. Just pick any recipe from our database that you think will work well with the wine, and tell us who you’d make it for. And it doesn't have to be lamb - we have it on good authority that this Sauvignon Blanc also works well with seafood and white meat, for example.

Something like…

Dear lovefood, I’d treat my lovely mother to your homemade chicken chasseur and two glasses of the wine I’ve won…

And we’ll pick the winner at random.  Usual T&Cs apply

Closing date

Competition closes at midday on August 15, 2012.

Finally PLEASE check your contact details

We’ve had situations in the past where people have old or unused email addresses saved with lovefood. This means that though they’ve been picked as the winner, we’ve had to give the prize to someone else as they've not got back to us with their address. So please take a second to log in (you need to do this to enter the competition anyway) click ‘my settings’ at the top, and check that ‘my email address’ is the one you use regularly.
