Here are the events to look forward to this winter.

Food festivals are taking place across the UK this Winter. Find your closest events using our map, and share any we've missed out using the Comments at the bottom of the page (no trade events, please).

Birmingham Frankfurt Christmas Market

What: The largest outdoor Christmas Market in Britain, with pretzels, schnitzels, bratwurst and more. Lots of opportunities to buy hand-crafted presents and enjoy a glass of mulled wine or hot chocolate.

Belfast Christmas Market

What: Enjoy a range of food, beverages, crafts and decorations from Europe and beyond.

Royal Welsh Winter Fair

What: Lots, but of most interest to foodies will be the food hall and farmer's market where you can purchase a range of artisan and locally produced foods.
When: 1st-2nd December
Where: Royal Welsh Showground, Builth Wells
Cost: £12 Adults, Children £5, under 5s go free.

Padstow Christmas Festival

What: Award-winning chefs and over 100 local artisan producers, Christmas market and more.
When: 4th-7th December
Where: Padstow, Cornwall

Winter Market, Digbeth

What: Real ale, mulled wine, lots of food plus a pop-up cinema among other attractions.
When: 6th December

Portmeirion Food & Craft Festival

What: Local produce and chefs, entertainment and cooking and craft demonstrations. Over 90 exhibitors in total.
When: 6th-7th December

The Big Bite Christmas Food & Drink Fair

What: Artisan food and drink plus entertainment. Father Christmas will be visiting, too.
When: 6th-7th December
