The coolest food festival in town is back for a summer extravaganza, and you can be there thanks to lovefood.com

The fourth incarnation of FEAST’S rambunctious round-up of London’s top chefs and street food heroes promises an alternative spin on the traditional village fête. With hot air balloons, hampers and high jinks, the FEAST Village Fête promises to delight the cook and epicure alike. From Coconut shies, bat the rat and tug of war to hot air balloon flights, picnics and strawberries & cream the Summer FEAST promises a unique and memorable day out for everyone.

Feast goes East

FEAST has found itself a new home in Brick Lane Yard near London’s Spitalfields market, the old service yard for the brewers. The site is bang in the heart of street food London and will make a welcome destination for hungry Londoners. For the first time ever at FEAST, visitors can pre-order a picnic hamper to enjoy in the sun, created by a top chef, details of whom shall be announced in due course.

When?

This fourth FEAST, running from 4th – 7th July, is welcoming an array of new traders such as Spuntino, Flat Iron, James Lowe (Young Turks), Brindisa, Bonnie Gull, Breddo’s Tacos, Big Apple Hot Dogs and Kimchinary joining the FEAST stalwarts such as HIX, Pizza Pilgrims, Mishkins and Meringue Girls. Basically it's a who's who of the coolest restaurants in town.

Up up and away

In a fabulously summery new twist, guests will be able to eat their food or picnic inside a hot air balloon at a proper dining table and chairs. Each ride in the balloon is pre-bookable and each ride is available for one person plus 3 guests.

Finally PLEASE check your contact details

We’ve had situations in the past where people have old or unused email addresses saved with lovefood. This means that though they’ve been picked as the winner of one of our competitions, we’ve had to give the prize to someone else as they've not got back to us. So please take a second to log in (you need to do this to enter the competition anyway) click My settings at the top, and check that My email address is the one you use regularly. Also keep an eye on your spam folder or why not add @lovefood.com to your list of approved senders. And finally if you’re on twitter, please include your @twitter name in your answer too.
