Ever fancied improving your cookery skills? Well, now could be your chance because lovefood.com readers have the opportunity to win a place on one of Can Cook Studio’s weekend cookery courses – and you can bring a friend!
The course
Can Cook Studio is based in South Liverpool and has been working with schools, communities and the general public since 2006. It runs a number of cookery courses during the evenings and weekends that are tailored to suit your needs - so whether you’re a beginner or you simply want to develop your skills, there’s something for everyone.
During your chosen class, you’ll be able to enjoy live demonstrations from skilled chefs and you’ll also have plenty of time to create your own dishes in the kitchen.
Cookery classes can be in whatever takes your fancy - whether this is Italian, Thai, World Street Foods, Vegetarian cookery, baking, bread or pastry. And each course introduces you to all of the ingredients, flavours and techniques to create the very best dishes.
Then, once you’ve cooked your food, you’ll be able to sit down and enjoy it!
Runners up
If you don’t win the main prize of a cookery class for you and a friend, don’t despair because there’s also the chance to win one of ten copies of the Can Cook Studio ‘Takeaways’ book.
The book focuses on creating healthier versions of classic takeaway dishes so that they’re far less fatty and salty than the meals you order over the phone.
The book is packed full of great recipes that demonstrate how to use different ingredients and spices as you cook your way around the world to create some incredibly tasty and easy meals.

5. The cookery class must be taken by the end of September 2011.

7. The winner will be drawn at random from all valid entries received and will be notified by email.
