Summer is here, and as the days are longer and warmer there are a host of foodie festivals and events to enjoy.
Stuck for something to do over the coming weekends? Why not find your nearest food and drink event and stock up on some ingredients, or learn something new at a masterclass?
All details listed below are correct to the best of our knowledge at the time of writing. Events may be more expensive if you pay on the door. Please feel free to recommend other events in the comments section below, but no trade events please.
Some outdoor festivals may be called off in poor weather, so you'd be wise to check they are going ahead before travelling
BBC Good Food Summer show
What: You'll find the best food, drink and culinary experts from the BBC in Birmingham. And this year promises to be bigger and better than ever. The line-up includes Tom Kerridge, Michel Roux Jnr, James Martin, Paul Hollywood and Two Greedy Italians. Everything will be live in the Supertheatre and Summer Kitchen, so you never know what's going to happen!

Pembrokeshire Street Food Festival
What: From noon until 10pm, Pembrokeshire Street Food Festival will be welcoming a collaboration of local, regional and national food caterers to sunny Tenby South Beach. From mouth-watering burgers to gourmet seafood and awar-winning Welsh produce, everyone's taste buds will be catered for. And if you're in the mood for a tipple, the fully-licensed bar will offer lagers, craft beers and cocktails.

JOY Summer Festival
What: JOY is a summer celebration which promises to showcase the best artisan food and drink East Sussex has to offer, along with so much more. You could sample the seven course meal at Le Bun, or try delicious Super Street Food dishes. Look forward to a line up of delicious food, dancing, live music, entertainment and creative workshops for both children and adults.

Cost: Tickets start at £25 for adults on the Sunday, and £10 for children. Saturday and Sunday tickets will set you back £90 for adults, £40 for children and £20 for infants. Feast 2017
What: Enjoy a taste of history during a two-day festival celebrating food, drink and entertainment, all inspired by Baron Ferdinand's annual garden parties. There will be over 60 handpicked artisan food and drink stalls from the local area and beyond. There'll be handmade fudge, cheese and bread, artisan drinks, and food to eat at the huge dining table. Entertainment wise, there'll be a non-stop dance-a-thon to a cycling piano. It promises to be a great weekend!

Cost: Adult tickets are £15, children's tickets are £7.50, and family tickets are £37.50. But National Trust/Art Fund Member tickets are heavily discounted with adult tickets costing £5, chidren's tickets are £2.50, and family tickets £12.50. Under 5s go free.

Abingdon Food And Drink Festival
What: Abingdon Food and Drink Festival is returning for its fourth year with more food and drink stalls, a larger demonstration marquee and even more children's entertainment. Students from secondary schools in Abingdon are invited to take part in the "Bake it!" cake making competition, where winners will take home fabulous prizes.

Shrewsbury Food Festival
What: Shrewsbury's food festival is back, offering up the very best in artisan food, drink and craft beers and ales from 200 local artisan producers. There will also be hands-on activities for the kids including cookery classes and go karting and zorbing. For your musical pleasure, the best live music from #shropshireunsigned and local choir groups will be performing throughout the weekend.

Cost: Family tickets (2 adults and up to 3 children aged 2-16 years) are £15+£1 booking fee; an adult ticket is £7+£1 booking fee; a child ticket is just £2.

The Hyde End Food and Drink Festival
What: Food and drink enthusiasts, this promises to be an inspirational event. This year's line-up of chefs visiting the Food Theatre stage includes Phil Vickery, Dean Edwards and The Craft Beer Boys on the Saturday, while on the Sunday Levi Roots, Ping Coombs and The Craft Beer Boys will grace the stage. There's the opportunity to dine in the Crabstock Festivals Ltd "Seafood & Shellfish" Pop Up Restaurant called "Crab, Stock & 2 Smoking Lobsters" too, and you can also take in the Food Halls, real ales, wine tasting, Bushtucker Trials, crafts corner and children's entertainment.

Where: Hyde End, Great Missenden, Buckinghamshire HP16 0RD
Cost: Ticket prices are £8 for adults, £7 for over 65s, £3 for children and under 5s go free. If you'd like to dine at the "Seafood & Shellfish" Pop Up Restaurant, tickets will set you back £49.95, but hurry as spaces are limited to 45 people per day.

Pembrokeshire Fish Week
What: A celebration of Pembrokeshire's fish and seafood, all while enjoying Pembrokeshire's spectacular coastline. The events and activities feature around fish and shellfish, fish cookery and preparation demonstrations, eating out, angling competitions and coaching on water adventure and outdoor activities.

Colmore Food Festival
What: Back for its seventh year, Colmore Food Festival will feature local food and drink, a kitchen demo stage, local music and street theatre. Some of the best restaurants, bars, cafes and bakeries from around the Colmore area of the city will be offering up their products available all year round. Taster portions are only £4 each, so you can enjoy a wide variety of foods.

Elvaston Castle Food and Drink Festival
What: A weekend filled with delicious food, beers of the world, delicious wines and Champagnes is on offer at the Elvaston Castle Food and Drink Festival. Marquees will be packed with handmade food and craft from local and artisan producers. You could take part in the Man v Cake competition, there will be live music and a dedicated children's area to keep the little ones amused.

Yorkshire Dales Food and Drink Festival
What: This festival hopes to promote the 'Field to Fork' ethos, while showcasing the finest food, drink and chefs, principally from the Yorkshire Dales region. With over 250 traders selling the best of regional and national produce, a Celebrity Chef Demonstration Arena featuring John Torode on the Saturday and James Martin on the Sunday, plus a Local Chef Demonstration Arena, there'll be lots of delicious food being served up over the weekend.

Where: Funkirk Farm, Carleton, near Skipton, North Yorkshire BD23 3AB
Cost: Standard adult tickets for Saturday or Sunday are £11.20 each, or £6.60 for children (aged 8 to 16), and family tickets are £30 per day.
