It looks like we could be lucky enough to see some sunshine this weekend. But if that's not enough, here's this week's selection of discounts and deals to brighten things up even further!

Films and box sets

If a spot of rest and relaxation is what you need this weekend, what better way to do it than in front of a good film? And with these fabulous deals, you certainly won't be short of things to watch!

On the other hand, if you'd prefer to rent your DVDs and avoid cluttering up your shelves, you can currently get 30 days free rental at LoveFilm, plus two free cinema tickets! Simply use the code LFTD14vouchercodescouk when you register. Now that's what I call a bargain!

As always, there are some brilliant deals on the high street this week:

• Blacks: 10% off all orders if you use the code thankyou at the checkout. Valid until 31 October.
• Dorothy Perkins: Free delivery if you spend £50 or more. Simply use the code FREE9 at the checkout. This is valid until 11 June.
• House of Fraser: Up to 25% off selected items today only (Friday).
• Karen Millen: 20% off if you enter the code COSMO9 at the checkout.
• Kew: Free standard delivery if you use the code KEWFREEDEL at the online checkout by 19 June.
• Laura Ashley: 25% off dresses and home furnishings.
• Schuh: £5 off orders over £19.46 with the code online until Sunday (31 May).
• USC: Up to 50% off selected items.

Meanwhile, any foodies out there looking for a healthier way to cook should be delighted to hear that Amazon is offering up to 50% off selected George Foreman health grills! This 5 Portion Family Grill is now £29.36, saving you a whopping £40.63.

But my favourite deal this week is Amazon's offer of up to 30% off the gorgeous Le Creuset range (in teal). This 22cm Teal Cast Iron Round Casserole Dish is now just £71.94, saving you an impressive £30.83.

If you're a bit of a bookworm, you won't have any problem wiling away the hours with these fabulous book bargains:

• Borders is offering up to 25% off all travel books. There's also 20% off all orders over £25 if you use the code MAYBH2202 by Sunday (31 May).
• Waterstones is offering up to 50% off thousands of books. And you can also grab 10% off online orders if you enter the code LB9293 at the checkout. This code is valid until 30 June.
• At WHSmith there's up to 60% off bestselling paperbacks. John Le Carre's The Constant Gardener is now just £2.80 (RRP £6.99) while Jeremy Clarkson's Clarkson's For Crying Out Loud is now £3.20 (RRP £7.99).
