Andrew Dargue
Alongside his partner Donna Conroy, Andrew set up vegetarian restaurant Vanilla Black in York in 2004 and, four years later, moved it down to London. Vanilla Black aims to elevate meat-free cookery to a level that delights discerning palates of all tastes, whether vegetarian or committed carnivore. As head-chef, Andrew is passionate about redefining contemporary non-meat cuisine by experimenting with original and surprising flavour combinations. The resulting menu challenges the bland, uninspiring misconceptions about vegetarian dishes.
