My whole ethos is to inspire and help people to simply cook more, with well-explained and thoroughly tested recipes that look as good as they taste. I grew up near Birmingham, England and first learned to cook good family food by my Mum's side, pretending I was Delia Smith. Fast-forward to 2003 and, following University and a few years in the wrong job, I enrolled at Leith's School of Food and Wine to learn how the pros do it. Following my Diploma, I won the prestigious placement at BBC Good Food and went on to spend six happy years on the magazine team, writing recipes, editing for top chefs and cookery writers and food styling for photography.
