Sharron Gibson

Anyone who takes up photography as a hobby or career is on a journey and Sharron is no different. She started out as an online news journalist at the BBC, but knew that her heart (and often her mind) lay with the world of photography. Taking redundancy from the BBC, she decided to follow her lifelong passion and studied for an MA in Photojournalism at the prestigious London College of Communication. “I photographed a friends wedding using the techniques I had learned at college and became totally hooked. The emotions and drama of the day were incredible and beautiful to photograph and I fell in love with my job for the first time." The Image Garden Photography was born in 2010 and as her photo journey continues and grows, Sharron has moved into photographing food, families and continues with her first love – weddings. Sharron lives in Bedfordshire with her partner and 2 children.
