Snowball cocktail recipe

This cocktail recipe was created by Lydia Levine for her book Cosmic Cocktails: A Guide to the Mixology of Astrology.

Lydia says: "When you shake this cocktail up, it transforms into something frothy and exciting. Serve this to your date whenever you feel the need to change up your courting routine."

  • Cocktail shaker, filled with ice
  • Strainer
  • Highball glass

Ingredients

  • 60 ml advocaat
  • 30 ml lime cordial
  • 1 dash of lemonade, to top
  • 1 maraschino cherry, on a cocktail stick, to serve
  • 2.1 fl oz advocaat
  • 1.1 fl oz lime cordial
  • 1 dash of lemonade, to top
  • 1 maraschino cherry, on a cocktail stick, to serve
  • 0.3 cup advocaat
  • 0.1 cup lime cordial
  • 1 dash of lemonade, to top
  • 1 maraschino cherry, on a cocktail stick, to serve

Step-by-step

  1. Add the ingredients to a cocktail shaker and shake briskly, but not overlong, until you create a frothy top.
  2. Pour into the glass.
  3. Balance the cherry and cocktail stick on the rim of the glass.
