How to make roast potatoes in your air fryer
Think air-fried potatoes can't match traditional oven-roasted spuds? Think again! These foolproof three-ingredient roasties, made in an air fryer, are on the table in under half an hour – and they're as crispy, comforting and delicious as the real oven-cooked deal.
Serve them with a sprinkle of sea salt and lashings of gravy for the ultimate Christmas side dish, or try them with your next Sunday roast.
Ingredients
- 1 kg potatoes
- 1 spritz of olive oil spray
- 1 pinch of sea salt, to serve

Step-by-step
- Peel the potatoes and cut into 4cm (1.5in) chunks. Rub the potatoes dry with a clean tea towel.
- Place the potatoes in the basket of the air fryer. Spray well with oil, toss, then spray again.
- Cook at 180°C/360°F for 15 minutes. Shake the basket.
- Increase heat to 200°C/400°F and cook for a further 10 minutes, or until golden and crisp.
- Season with salt, to serve.
