Spicy pineapple and kale smoothie recipe
This smoothie is nice and green, but has a fun spicy kick to it because of the ginger and cayenne. It will definitely wake up your taste buds first thing in the morning.
Time Saver
Most grocery stores carry bags of frozen fruit that are perfect for making smoothies. I try to keep a variety of frozen fruits on hand to assist with quick smoothie making.
Ingredients
- 4 kale leaves
- 1 handful coriander leaves
- 0.5 cm piece ginger root
- 165 g pineapple chunks (fresh or frozen)
- 120 ml filtered water
- 1 pinch cayenne pepper

Step-by-step
- Wash the kale, cilantro, and ginger root.
- Add all ingredients to your high-speed blender and blend on high until smooth and creamy.
