Please can anyone tell me if they remember the Hunters Tinned Jam Roll and Tinned Apple Dumpling from 60's 70's. i would love to get hold of an old tin if anyone has any info on where to get, cannot even find anything online. Cheers

Re slide 23. America has never really grasped Tate & Lyles Golden Syrup. This is understandable having an abundance of Maple syrup, but it is way better than Caro syrup which merely transports sweetness with little flavour. You can replace Caro for Golden syrup in many recipes to great effect. Golden syrup has been a childhood treat for decades in UK.

Re, Slide 22. Fray Bentos, or Father Bentos. was a Uruguayan seaport where Fray Bentos products were processed. The brand was pulled back and forth by subsequent ownerships and has been producing its go to tinned Corned beef for over 170 years in UK, Europe and Australia. Corned beef production in Fray Bentos, Uruguay employed workers to process 400 cattle an hour in its heyday.
