WIN brunch with Arthur Potts Dawson
Enter our competition to win brunch with Arthur Potts Dawson, courtesy of Good Energy!
Good Energy, the UK’s only 100% renewable electricity supplier, has linked up with renowned green chef, Arthur Potts Dawson, to mark its sponsorship of The Real Food Harvest Festival, running from 23rd – 25th September at London’s Southbank. At the festival, Arthur will be demonstrating some of the delicious seasonal recipes he has created for the “Good Energy Good Kitchen” guide, brimming with tips on how to give your kitchen a green makeover.
We’re offering one lucky reader (and a friend...) the chance to win brunch at top London restaurant, Roast, hosted by Arthur himself!
Arthur Potts Dawson
A chef for over 21 years, Arthur has worked with some of the greatest names in the business – the Roux brothers, Rowley Leigh, Rose Gray and Ruth Rogers, Pierre Koffman and Jamie Oliver. Known as founder of the ‘People’s Supermarket’, Arthur also launched sustainable catering at two eco- aware restaurants, Acorn House and Waterhouse in London.
But what’s energy got to do with food? Well, the kitchen accounts for over a third of the average household’s electricity consumption. By implementing little changes to your routine – like shopping locally and seasonally; keeping the oven door shut and not peeking until your dinner’s ready; and covering pots and pans with lids when cooking on the hob – you’ll be doing your bit for the environment.
