Air fryer Brussels sprouts recipe

Brussels sprouts are a must-have at Christmas – but did you know you can make this classic side dish in an air fryer? This four-step recipe is incredibly quick and easy, so it's a fuss-free way to get your green vegetable fix on the big day.

The slightly crisp texture, and the saltiness from the bacon, might even win over some of the most ardent sprouts haters (possibly), and any leftovers will be a delicious addition to your Boxing Day spread.

Ingredients

  • 450 g Brussels sprouts
  • 4 slices of back bacon
  • 1 pinch of salt and pepper
  • 15.9 oz Brussels sprouts
  • 4 slices of back bacon

  • 4 slices of back bacon
  • 1 pinch of salt and pepper

Step-by-step

  1. Remove the core and the outside skin of the Brussels sprouts and place them into your air fryer. Cook for 10 minutes at 180°C/360°F.
  2. While the Brussels sprouts are cooking, dice your bacon. Remove all visible fat and place them in the air fryer when it beeps.
  3. Now cook for a further 5 minutes at 200°C/400°F.
  4. Serve with salt and pepper.
