Pigs in blankets lovers, rejoice! Your favourite festive snack can be yours in a matter of minutes this Christmas, all thanks to the kitchen tool of the moment – the air fryer. 

This easy recipe only uses two ingredients, bacon and sausages, but exactly what kinds of bacon and sausages are up to you. For classic pigs in blankets, opt for cocktail sausages and streaky bacon. Want to mix things up a little? Try using larger sausages and regular bacon. Anything goes!

They're so easy to make, there's no need to save them for Christmas dinner. Just whip up a batch whenever you fancy some festive nibbles.

  • 750 g bacon
  • 500 g sausages
  • 26.5 oz bacon
  • 17.6 oz sausages
  • 26.5 oz bacon
  • 17.6 oz sausages

Step-by-step

  1. Remove the packaging from your bacon and sausages. If you've opted for big sausages, cut them in half.
  2. Wrap the sausages in bacon.
  3. Load into your air fryer basket.
  4. Cook for 8 minutes at 180°C/360°F.
  5. Remove from the air fryer and serve.
